Mexican Rice
Ingredients
- 2 cups of rice
- \( \frac{1}{2} \) diced white onion
- \( \frac{1}{2} \) teaspoon garlic powder
- \( \frac{1}{2} \) teaspoon cumin
- \( 1\frac{1}{2} \) tabslespoons salt
- \( \frac{1}{2} \) can of tomato sauce
- 3 cups of water (adjust based on rice's instructions)
- Optional: frozen peas, carrots, corn, etc... about 1 cup
Instructions
- Brown rice in a little bit of oil
- Add everything else
- Cover and cook like you would any rice (about 20 min)
