Mexican Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of rice
  • \( \frac{1}{2} \) diced white onion
  • \( \frac{1}{2} \) teaspoon garlic powder
  • \( \frac{1}{2} \) teaspoon cumin
  • \( 1\frac{1}{2} \) tabslespoons salt
  • \( \frac{1}{2} \) can of tomato sauce
  • 3 cups of water (adjust based on rice's instructions)
  • Optional: frozen peas, carrots, corn, etc... about 1 cup

Instructions

  • Brown rice in a little bit of oil
  • Add everything else
  • Cover and cook like you would any rice (about 20 min)
